This policy describes how data sent to the Jose Fernandez Personal Assistant, a personal SMS line I, Jose Fernandez, operate on a dedicated Twilio number, is handled.

Data collected via SMS

When you text the number, the assistant may collect:

  • Your phone number.
  • The content of your messages.
  • Timestamps of when messages are sent and received.
  • Any media you send, such as images.

How the data is used

Messages are routed to my personal AI assistant running on my home server. The assistant uses this information to generate, or to help me generate, replies on my behalf, and to send me reminders. The assistant may also send email on my behalf as part of acting on a request.

Data is not shared or sold

Data collected via SMS is not shared with third parties and is not used for marketing. It is not sold, rented, or traded.

Retention

Messages are retained only as long as needed to provide assistance. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
